3D Designer / Technical Product Designer (m/f/d)
Focus on special designs, product development & Inventor, full-time
Help us shape the control rooms of tomorrow. STADLER SYSTEC stands for innovative systems engineering and is a specialist in modern control centers and control rooms. That might sound a bit technical and dry at first, but it is anything but. We develop and implement turnkey control room solutions that combine high-tech, ergonomics, and design at the highest level. Our projects range from impressive video walls and ergonomic control room desks to custom furniture concepts and complex, integrated solutions featuring state-of-the-art technology, software, and KVM systems. In short: we build the control rooms of tomorrow. Our clients come from a wide variety of industries, including automotive, energy supply, air traffic, security, data centers, critical infrastructure, aerospace, research, pharmaceuticals, the food industry, and many other forward-looking sectors.

your mission

You will develop, design, and optimize our products and special solutions for modern control rooms and command centers. In this role, you will work on high-quality control room consoles, video wall systems, custom constructions, and bespoke client solutions that require a high degree of customization. From the initial concept to the final production drawing, you will oversee exciting projects and actively contribute your technical ideas to the further development of our product range.

your responsibilities

Design & Product Development
- Design and further development of our control room consoles, video wall systems, and other product solutions
- Development of custom designs and client-specific solutions
- Creation of 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor
- Adaptation and further development of existing standard products
- Development of new components, mounts, fastening systems, and custom parts
- Design of components for wood, metal, and sheet metal fabrication
- Development and design of components for 3D printing
Technical Detailing
- Preparation of manufacturing documentation and technical drawings for our suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Derivation of manufacturing drawings for carpentry, metalworking, and sheet metal processing
- Creation of bills of materials and technical documentation
- Maintenance and further development of existing standard libraries
Technical Calculations & Custom Solutions
- Design and evaluation of custom constructions
- Execution of basic static analyses and load estimations
- Evaluation of loads, stability, and motion sequences for our systems
- Design and optimization of height-adjustable workstation systems
- Development of technical solutions for special applications such as acoustic panels, ceiling suspensions, or individual integration solutions
Space Planning & Visualization
- Creation and design of spatial concepts and 3D room models
- Support with technical space planning
- Creation and post-processing of photorealistic renderings of our products and spatial concepts in Keyshot
- Support with the visual presentation of client projects

what you bring to the table

- Completed vocational training or a degree in technical product design, mechanical engineering, product development, construction, or a comparable qualification
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
- Experience in 3D design and the creation of technical drawings
- Proficiency in handling assemblies, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience in the design of sheet metal, metal, or wood assemblies is an advantage
- Experience in custom design and product development is desirable
- Knowledge of rendering and visualization in Keyshot is an advantage
- Experience with other CAD systems is welcome
- Interest in and openness to modern AI tools and digital working methods
- Technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills
- Independent, structured, and precise way of working
- Creativity and a passion for custom technical solutions
