IT Systems Technician / IT Specialist for System Integration / Media Technician (m/f/d)
Focus on control rooms, KVM, and media technology

your mission

You will install, integrate, and configure the technical infrastructure for modern control rooms and command centers. From factory preparation and on-site installation to commissioning and ongoing support, you will manage sophisticated projects throughout Germany and the DACH region. In this role, you will work with state-of-the-art KVM systems, video wall controllers, server and network technology, and other high-tech components.

your responsibilities

System Integration & Installation
- Assembly, preparation, and testing of hardware components at our facility
- Conducting functional checks and test setups prior to delivery
- Verification of firmware versions and system compatibility
- Installation and integration of KVM systems, KVM matrices, and transmitter/receiver units
- Installation and integration of video wall controllers, network switches, and other IT and AV hardware
- Equipping and assembling 19-inch racks according to layout and rack plans
- Installation of cable management brackets, systems, and infrastructure components
- Mounting and integration of technical components into control room consoles and environments
- Hardware installation in both control rooms and server/technical rooms
Cabling & Commissioning
- Professional cabling and integration of all system components
- Implementation of structured, high-quality cable management
- Execution of on-site commissioning and functional testing
- Fault analysis, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Documentation of installed systems and components
Configuration & System Support
- Step-by-step training on the configuration of our deployed systems
- Parameterization and configuration of KVM, video wall, and other system solutions
- Performing updates, adjustments, and optimizations
- Support and maintenance of existing customer systems
- Carrying out service calls and support tasks on-site or remotely
Depending on the project, the balance between workshop and field work is typically around 40% in the workshop and 60% on-site at customer projects.
Our projects are primarily carried out in small teams. Depending on the project, you will work together with colleagues from engineering, assembly, or in mixed project teams.

what you bring to the table

- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, IT systems electronics technician, media technician, information electronics technician, or a comparable qualification
- Career changers with relevant professional experience in IT, AV, or media technology are also welcome
- Technical understanding and a passion for modern IT and media technology
- Experience with server, network, or AV technology is an advantage
- Knowledge of structured cabling and cable management
- Ideally, initial experience with KVM systems, video wall technology, or control room solutions
- Experience working with 19-inch racks and IT infrastructure is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of network technology is desirable
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- Interest in modern AI tools and digital working methods
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- High quality standards and a clean, meticulous approach to work
- Confident and professional demeanor when dealing with customers
- Willingness to travel for projects within Germany and the DACH region
- Class B driver's license
