Ma-co maritimes competenzcentrum qualifies thousands of employees annually at its locations in Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven, and Wilhelmshaven in the fields of cargo handling, logistics, safety, technology, and management. In doing so, the company makes a vital contribution to the German port industry. As part of the previously implemented IHATEC research projects PortSkill 4.0 and DigiTank, the control center at the Hamburg competence center was completely rebuilt. What began as an empty office was transformed, step by step, into a modern control room environment for the port industry.
